It is a logarithmic detector for signals from DC to 600 MHz and, with reduced sensitivity, to at least 1.3 GHz.
The output signal is proportional to the logarithm of the input signal, meaning a "linear dB" output.
Input signals from ~55 µV to ~2.2V results in a "linear dB" output, a 92 dB dynamic range.

The cost for a LogProbe is a no-nonsense $250 (US) and this includes the "shipping and handling" suck.
For Air Mail shipping to outside the US, add $10. California residents to add 7.25% sales tax ($18.13).
The price also includes a 9V battery and 3 blank plugs (one 5-pin and two 3-pin) if you want to build your own accessories.
After about late January the battery box will be available for an extra $50. I will put up a picture as soon as I get them ready.
